AIMME HOSTS THE FIRST MEETING OF THE EUROPEAN PROJECT LIFE IN-BRIEF
On 11 November, the first technical meeting of the LIFE In-Brief Project took place at the AIMME facilities. The objective of the meeting was to establish the first tasks to be carried out by the partners in order to meet the deadlines established in the project.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the five partners that are part of the consortium: LUDAN, AEMA, FORNERS, COMPO and AIMME itself, which is the coordinator of the project. The objective of LIFE In-Brief is to develop a new business model based on obtaining several high-quality fertilisers from food company waste and sewage sludge through a new treatment process carried out in a biogas plant.
On behalf of AIMME, Francisco Bosch and David Sanz, head and technician respectively of the centre’s Chemical Technologies Unit, coordinated the meeting. Both explained to the attendees what is expected of each partner in the next two years, time that has marked the project to achieve the objectives set.
The project also discussed the contents to be included in the specific website that is being created and which is expected to be public in the coming weeks.
